Q – RB: What helped you lose weight this month (June) the most?
A – TK: Eating right and long hikes carrying my son in the Ergo Carrier! Q – RB: What is keeping you motivated? A – TK: Who doesn’t want a free trip?! J Q – RB: Tips & Tricks! A – TK: Try hiking with an extra 22 lbs – those without a baby/toddler could try using added weights on their wrists/legs to get extra carrying weight. You’ll feel it the next day! Q – RB: What helped you lose weight this month (May) the most? A – JN: I was focusing on daily exercise seven days a week. If it’s too hot, I hit the gym. If its great weather I run. Somedays I do both. I have a calendar at my desk to mark the days that I hit my 1 hour of exercise for the day. In May I had 19 days highlighted as successful workout days. I am spending this month in JUNE trying to get some additional days on weekends added to my workout schedule. Q – RB: What is keeping you motivated? A – JN: I want to lose weight and reach a specific goal that I’ve set. I have a pair of size 8 pants that I’ve saved from back in the day and I hope to wear them to the Christmas Party this year. I’m determined to do it, regardless of the contest. :D Short term I’m shooting for 1 lb a week and although I haven’t met that every month, I feel really good about not gaining anything each month.
